What To Expect on Sunday

Visiting a new church for the first time can be intimidating. You may be apprehensive and have questions. What should I wear?  What are the services like? Who will keep my children? We hope you can find the answers to all of your questions here.

  • when and where are services held

Currently we have two services, one at 9:00 am in the fellowship hall and one at 10:30 am in the sanctuary. We also offer live streaming of our 10:30 service on our YouTube page as well as our Facebook page.

Our physical address is 349 Fairwood Boulevard, Fairhope, Alabama. Traveling south on Hwy 98, make slight right onto Veteran’s Blvd, travel 1.3 miles and turn left onto Fairwood Blvd.  Follow the curve and you will see FCC on your left.

  • What should I wear?

We care about people at FCC, not fashion.  We want you to dress in what is comfortable to you. Some members like to wear their “Sunday best” while others prefer a more casual look.

  • What will it be like?

At Fairhope Christian Church, we recognize that people are important to God, therefore, people are important to us!  We promise that you will find a warm, inviting atmosphere when you visit. You’ll meet many smiling faces and be welcomed into our community.

  • What is the style of worship?

Worship at Fairhope Christian Church is considered traditional. The congregation participates in worship through song, Scripture reading, sermon and prayer, with the Lord's Supper (communion) being the heart of our worship.

  • can visitors take communion?

Our communion table is open to all who wish to partake. We make no demands and do not deny anyone wishing to participate in the Lord's Supper.

  • What is available for my children?

Be assured that your children are Welcome at Fairhope Christian Church. During the youth service at 9:45 am our youth director with the help from trained volunteers from our congregation will teach your children and assist you in settling little ones with lessons and activities presented in a fun and loving environment. We also have trained staff and volunteers tending our nursery during the worship service.

  • what is the music like?

During the 9 am service we play contemporary and traditional Christian songs.

During the 10:30 am service our congregation enjoys singing traditional hymns together as well as special music presented by our Chancel Choir, although currently with the pandemic, we are not singing in worship, but our church musician does play during the service.

  • Where should I park?

There is ample amount of parking in the front and back of our church as well as one side street.
